vintage towel squeeze purse - (large) floral folk art

Made from the scraps of vintage towels, these squeeze purses have a hinged metal flex open/closure to keep small things safely contained. Simply squeeze the ends toward the center and the purse will pop open, let go and it will snap closed again.

This is a throwback to my favorite coin purses in the 70's/80's as a child, so I made these with nostalgia in mind.

Made from a vintage towel with a floral folk pattern, each is slightly different. Each purse has a metal loop for attaching inside your bigger tote bag if needed. Each squeeze purse is unlined. This long size was made with sunglasses in mind, and will keep eyeglasses, readers, or sunglasses protected in your bag. (Most smartphones will NOT fit inside this purse as the flex opening is only 4" across when closed)
