100% organic cotton produce bags. This set includes two bags (one large and one medium size) both with a drawstring closure at the top. They are designed, carved, and block printed by hand with oil based, non toxic, speedball block printing fabric ink.

These reusable produce bags have a tare weight on the label, making them a great alternative to plastic bags while grocery shopping. Use them to store your produce in the refrigerator OR keep knitting and crochet projects safely stored with a bag OR use as a travel bag for socks and skivvies packed into a suitcase OR give them as gift bags to replace wrapping paper on special occasions. The possibilities are endless!
Wash on cold and line dry to maintain longevity of the print and to prevent excessive shrinkage. Cotton will soften with time and use.
Due to the nature of block printing, there will be some variance of color in the ink.

Who couldn't use a little bag like these for jewelry, keeping organized in a suitcase, small knitting projects, or produce shopping? I bought them as sweet handmade gifts for friends with birthdays coming up but I am having a hard time convincing myself to part with them. This is always the toughest thing about buying from Meredith — her art is so original and practical every item is a perfect gift for someone else, but I really just want to gift them all to myself!
